Filet Mignon with Lemon Pepper Butter
Grill Master: Vin Thomas | Short URL: This is the short link." />
I had the absolute most delicious steak ever for Memorial Day. For this challenge I purchased some prime Filet Mignon. I salted it for 20 minutes before grilling to bring out the juices. I cooked it over medium heat for about 10 minutes on my infrared grill.
While it was cooking I created a home-made lemon pepper butter made of 4 tbsp of butter, 2 tsp of fresh lemon zest, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of fresh ground pepper. Once the steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare), I topped it with the butter and let it soak up the flavors.
After a few minutes, I was in heaven as I bit into the most delicious steak I’ve ever had in my life. All my guests tried it and agreed they have never had a better steak.
So darn good!

This steak was awesome. Good one.
The photography and the meal both look amazing. Starting to make me think about lunch already. I’m so glad we’re back in Grilling season here in Michigan; its just heating up!
Holy shmokes! Vin Thomas is the Bobby Flay of web design! That looks excellent. Five stars!!!
